Control IRB from your phone

Poke at a Ruby object or run a quick experiment between other things.

$ onlytty -- irb

IRB on your phone

IRB is Ruby's interactive console. OnlyTTY runs it on your own machine and hands you a private link to drive it from your phone — the terminal stays live where you launched it; your phone is just a second screen and keyboard.

  • End-to-end encrypted — the relay only ever forwards ciphertext, never your keystrokes.
  • View-only by default — but the link is the key: anyone with it can take control with a tap. Lock it to watching with --control view-only.
  • Nothing stored — sessions are in-memory and vanish when you exit; no account, no inbound ports.
